Contemplating the Trinity
Main Article Content
Abstract
Luis Ángel Montes Peral has completed his trilogy on the Trinity (2019-2023), addressing what he considers to be the fundamental question of theology. This literary and conceptual endeavour sought to delve into the ‘Mystery of mysteries’ through a personal exercise, developing a theology that differs from the academic one and is based on spiritual experience. His most intimate purpose was to bear witness to a real transformative experience that comes only from the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The author emphasises that the Holy Trinity is essentially defined as Love, Newness, and Happiness. This experience, nourished by faith, hope, and love, seeks to guide the spiritual experience of readers towards the fullness of filiation and fraternity.
