Abstract
The article is an introduction to Karl Barth’s Trinitarian thought. The first part presents the Swiss theologian’s re-inclusion in his “family tree” and re-discovery of the doctrine of the Trinity, not only through ancient Trinitarian dogma, but also by looking at contemporary times and giving a special place to Hegel’s thought. The second proposes, in summary, Barth’s Trinitarian doctrine, which arose from, among other things, the desire to indicate a solution to the problem of the relationship between God and the world, that is, the desire to overcome the false alternative between God’s.
