From faith to hope through charity. Pauline contributions to living in hope
Main Article Content
Abstract
Modern culture has been displacing God, leaving man alone with himself, making him believe that he is the only creator of himself and his destiny. Because the man of our time appears to live as if he were content, and that is why he has fun and pastimes, to forget that he has no hope. Cultivating a spirituality of hope today is something extremely necessary; perhaps this is one of the most important contributions of Christian testimony; It has always been, because it is consubstantial with the same faith that we profess, but in the current circumstances it has a special urgency. The starting point is always faith, not an intellectualist faith focused on concepts, but a faith that works through charity. It is faith that opens the doors of hope and with it access to the kingdom of God, the ultimate end of the pilgrimage on this earth.
